he Somali Association of Recruitment Agencies (SARA), in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and MoLSA is pleased to take part in the IRIS Introductory Training for Labour Recruiters held in Somalia on 18–19 August 2025.
The two-day training brings together recruitment agencies, government representatives, and international partners to strengthen knowledge on:

✅ The IRIS Standard and management systems
✅ Business case for fair recruitment
✅ Risks and challenges in recruitment processes
✅ Opportunities under the Ethical Recruiter Capacity Programme (RCP)
Key speakers include Mr. Manuel Pereira (IOM Chief of Mission), Mr. Yusuf Mohamed Adan (Minister, MOLSA), and Ms. Lucy Mutuku (IOM Kenya).
This training is a vital step towards promoting fair, transparent, and ethical labour recruitment in Somalia and supporting the rights and dignity of migrant workers.
